New comments on posts you commented on

A direct message when a community post you commented on gets a new comment

Details

If another member comments on a community post after you commented on it, we send you a direct message. The message does not include the comment text, only the post link. Because parent comments are not recorded separately, this notifies you of new comments on a post you commented on, not replies to your own comment. It is separate from the notification for new comments on your own posts, is off by default because it can add to your notifications, and is sent only to members who turn it on. Up to 3 messages per day.
