What each line of the alerts you receive on Telegram means.
- Direction
- Shown as long or short. Long is the upward direction, short is the downward direction.
- Alert grade
- Grades run from three stars (A) to one star (C); the fewer the stars, the weaker the evidence. If the confidence score or the alignment score across several timeframes is low, the grade is shown lowered.
- Level numbering
- The order of support and resistance levels. Level 1 is closest to the reference price and level 3 is the farthest. The stop is labelled "level-3 stop reference price".
- Confirmation timeframe
- The timeframe used to check the short-term trend line differs by level: the 4-hour chart for level 1, the 1-hour chart for level 2 and the 15-minute chart for level 3. A long checks for a close above the trend line, a short for a close below it. If 15-minute data is missing, the 1-hour chart is used instead.
- Prices shown
- The entry price, stop reference price and target prices are shown. Targets appear in the alert as seven steps, TP1 to TP7, set as multiples of the stop distance.
What to check yourself when you receive one
These are items you check yourself, against your own criteria, after receiving an alert. MarketSurfer does not judge on your behalf.
- Is the stop distance within the range you set for yourself?
- Are the targets far enough relative to the stop distance?
- Does it point the same way as the daily and weekly charts?
- Is there a macro release within 24 hours? Economic Calendar shows it.
- Is the position size within the limit you set for yourself?
Not every alert will fit your criteria; the final decision and responsibility rest with you.
Quotes and charts
This is the screen for looking at one symbol on its own.
Quotes and charts for crypto, US equities and KOSPI equities, symbol by symbol.
How to read it · Search by name or ticker and the support/resistance MarketSurfer computed is drawn on that symbol's candles.
Support, resistance and reference lines on daily and higher timeframes · Opens with a subscription
Scan support and resistance for every symbol in a single table.
How to read it · See where each symbol sits right now, without opening them one by one.
Daily, 3-day, weekly and monthly timeframes, all symbols · Opens with a subscription
See how far the Coinbase USD price and the exchange USDT price are apart, for Bitcoin and Ethereum.
How to read it · Check whether the gap is positive or negative and where it sits against past values. This table shows a price gap; it does not tell you a direction.
No lock is marked in this guide. Any part that is locked on the screen is stated in place.
See the expected range of the next single bar for every symbol, in one table.
How to read it · The marker on the bar is where price is now. Near the top means little room left above; near the bottom means little room left below. It is a statistical range, so price can move outside it.
Daily, 3-day, weekly and monthly timeframes, all symbols · Opens with a subscription
Open interest by option expiry for US equity symbols.
How to read it · Shows exactly which strikes open interest is clustered at. It records where open interest sits; it does not mean price will go there. Data can lag, and symbols with no listed options do not appear.
No lock is marked in this guide. Any part that is locked on the screen is stated in place.
Today's biggest gainers and decliners, and the highest turnover.
How to read it · Start here when you want to see what moved first.

Puts moves across all three markets on one color-coded screen.
How to read it · Where green clusters is where prices rose today. Deeper color means a larger move.
Whether a rise came in symbols with heavy money behind them · Opens with a subscription
Shows crypto, US and Korean stocks in order of market cap.
How to read it · Market cap ranks by size only; it does not say whether a symbol is good or bad. Crypto updates once a day and stock market caps once a month, so read the as-of date above the table too. Use the star on a row to add it to your watchlist.
No lock is marked in this guide. Any part that is locked on the screen is stated in place.
A list of crypto, US and Korean stock symbols grouped by market and sector.

Whole-market state
This is the screen for how the market looks right now, rather than any single symbol.
Brings the state of all three markets and what was detected today onto one screen.
How to read it · Start your day here and you have the whole picture.
Context such as accumulation/distribution, flows, smart money and short selling · Opens with a subscription
Shows market sentiment for crypto, Nasdaq and KOSPI on a 0-100 scale.
How to read it · 24 and below is extreme fear; 75 and above is extreme greed. The 40-60 band tells you almost nothing.
No lock is marked in this guide. Any part that is locked on the screen is stated in place.
How much more expensive Korean exchange prices are than overseas.
How to read it · A wide premium means domestic demand has piled in; a negative one means the opposite.

Bitcoin's market-cap share of the whole market, and the altcoin environment.
How to read it · When dominance rises, Bitcoin's share has grown; when it falls, the altcoin share has grown. Price moves alone change it, so it is not evidence of money moving.
No lock is marked in this guide. Any part that is locked on the screen is stated in place.
Which themes and sectors are rising or falling, measured by price change.
How to read it · Switch the period between daily, 3-day, weekly and monthly to tell sectors that jumped for a single day from those that have been strong for weeks. Stock sectors are the average move of their symbols; turnover-share shifts appear only for crypto sectors.

What MarketSurfer found
Screens where MarketSurfer has already picked out symbols that meet a condition.
Apply conditions and keep only the symbols that meet them right now.
How to read it · Try a preset first, and if there are too many results add conditions one at a time to narrow it down. The table lists support and resistance 1 through 3, so you can see the next level without opening the symbol.

How to read it · Inside the box no direction is settled. Which side it breaks out of is the outcome.

Whether clustered stops were swept, and whether the previous day's high or low was taken.
How to read it · Highs and lows clustered at the same level are where stops build up. Price often runs those levels and then turns.
The reference price at that level, and the full list · Opens with a subscription
Sloped reference lines and the symbols currently near that grid.
How to read it · A grid built by copying a line drawn through past highs and lows at even spacing. Because the lines are sloped, the same line sits at a different price as bars advance. What matters is the reaction at the touch; reaching a line is not itself a direction.
Get it as an alert · Opens with a subscription
Symbols that closed beyond a reference line on any daily-or-higher timeframe.
How to read it · Some of the daily, 3-day, weekly or monthly bars may still display the opposite way. The display changes only after that bar closes, so the crossing and the on-screen state can look out of step for a while. Crossing does not guarantee direction.

Collects the prices at which still-open positions in public wallets would be liquidated or stopped out.
How to read it · This differs from liquidations that already happened (liquidation history). If price reaches that level, forced liquidations may fire together — it does not mean price stops there.
The stop-order map and wallets that placed limit walls · Opens with a subscription
See, minute by minute, how much unfilled order size is resting at each price.
How to read it · Orders split into small pieces across several prices are merged into price buckets, so they show up as one cell. Resting orders can be cancelled at any time, so a cell does not mean price will stop there.
Full 4 hours · Ethereum · same-size evenly spaced order groups · orders posted together at the same moment · Opens with a subscription
See what the Hyperliquid wallets with the largest positions and the top 30-day P&L are holding right now.
How to read it · Click a wallet to see its current positions and the large changes it made over the last 30 days. No names are attached, and adding to a position is not a forecast of direction.

FAQ
- Can I use it without signing up?
- Yes. Most of the screens above open without signing up. Only screens that need your own data, such as the watchlist and desk, require sign-in.
- What is the difference between free and subscription?
- Free covers the 4-hour and 12-hour bars; subscription opens daily, 3-day, weekly and monthly. Lists are partial for free and complete for subscribers. Details are in the Subscription guide.
- Is this a service that gives buy and sell signals?
- No. It is a service that analyses market data and provides information; it is not an investment advisory business under the Financial Investment Services and Capital Markets Act. The judgement and the responsibility are yours.
- Figures read ‘not yet compiled’.
- It means the value has not arrived yet. We do not invent missing values, so we say so plainly. It updates when the bar closes.
