What is Candle Close?

The end of a set period, when the close of a candle is confirmed. The intraday price keeps changing, but the closing price remains as the price the period agreed on. For that reason, breakouts, breakdowns, and trend reversals are generally judged on the close. Judging by a candle still in progress means being repeatedly fooled by moves that reverse just before the close.
