What is Divergence?

Charts

다이버전스

A state in which the direction of the highs or lows made by price differs from the direction made by a supporting indicator. If price makes a new high but an indicator that measures strength does not, it is read as the strength of the rise weakening. In strong trends the mismatch can last for a long time, so it is too weak to serve as a basis on its own.
