What is Liquidity?

Basics

유동성

How easily the desired quantity can be bought or sold near the desired price. With good liquidity even a large order does not move the price much, while with thin liquidity the same order moves the price several levels. It tends to dry up suddenly during sharp declines after being fine in normal times, which shows up as the risk of being unable to sell when selling is needed.
