Advanced

OI (미결제 약정)

The total quantity of contracts that remain open and have not been closed. If volume is the activity during a period, open interest is the inventory of positions currently built up in the market. It is read in two ways: if it grows along with a rising price, new money has come in, and if the price rises while it shrinks, existing shorts were closed and pushed the price up.
