What is Partial Profit-Taking?

Basics

분익

Locking in gains by closing only part of a position rather than all of it. The remaining quantity is left open to leave room for the trend to continue. Closing everything secures profit but misses the rest of the move, while holding everything gives realized gains back in a pullback. Partial profit-taking splits the position between a locked-in part and a remaining part.
