What is Rollover?

Basics

롤오버

Moving a position from an expiring contract to the next contract to keep it open. A cost or gain arises equal to the price difference between the two contracts. The longer a position is held, the more this difference accumulates, so the rollover cost has to be calculated separately for long holding periods.
