What is Simple Interest?

Basics

단리

A structure in which interest is calculated only on the principal and earned results are not reinvested. The same amount is added each period. Compared with compounding, the difference is small at first but the gap widens greatly as the period lengthens. Whether or not results are reinvested decides the long-term outcome.
