What is Trend Reversal?

A change from a structure in which highs and lows are both rising to one in which both are falling, or the opposite. A one-day spike or drop is often a pullback rather than a reversal, so it is judged by whether the structure has actually changed after candles close. It appears first on smaller timeframes and is confirmed later on larger ones.
