What is Trendline?

Basics

추세선

A straight line drawn through successive highs or successive lows. A rising trendline connects higher lows, and a falling trendline connects lower highs. While the direction holds, pullbacks tend to stop on a similar slope, so a single line can show whether a trend is still intact. Two points do not yet make a line; it counts as valid only when a third touch draws a reaction. The more touches a line collects, the more it suggests the market remembers that slope. This material is not a recommendation to buy or sell.
