What is Volume Profile?

A distribution showing how much trading took place at each price level. Prices with heavy trading have many holders who bought there, so breakeven selling appears when price returns. Conversely, ranges with little trading have thin resistance and price passes through them quickly. It is read from the thickness along the volume axis, not the price axis.
