A Complete Guide to Market Hours

Regular trading

• 09:00 ~ 15:30 (KST)

Call auction hours

• Opening single-price auction: 08:30 ~ 09:00 (sets the day's opening price)

• Closing single-price auction: 15:20 ~ 15:30 (sets the day's closing price)

After-hours trading

• After-hours closing-price trading: 15:40 ~ 16:00 (trades at the day's closing price)

• After-hours single-price auction: 16:00 ~ 18:00 (single-price sessions every 10 minutes, within ±10% of the closing price)

The after-hours single-price session has shallow order-book depth, so slippage is large. Trading during regular hours is the basic rule.
