Using MarketSurfer and TradingView together
TradingView is a general platform for drawing your own charts and building indicators. MarketSurfer shows support and resistance levels and the direction of six bars. The two do different jobs, so this page covers how to use them together rather than as replacements.
What each one does
The TradingView column copies only what the official pages state, checked on 2026-10-31. Features and prices can change, so please confirm the latest on the official pages.
Charts and drawing
TradingView · Describes laying out several charts on one screen and using a range of drawing tools. The numbers differ by plan.
MarketSurfer · You can draw horizontal lines, trend lines, channels and retracements over the candles on a symbol screen. Drawings are saved in this browser.
Indicators
TradingView · Describes built-in indicators and strategies, indicators published by users, and Pine scripts you write yourself.
MarketSurfer · Calculates support and resistance levels 1 to 3 on the server and shows them on the chart. There is no feature for users to build their own indicators.
Alert
TradingView · Describes building alerts from several conditions and receiving them by browser, email, app or webhook.
MarketSurfer · Sends Telegram notices for prices you set, screener conditions you saved, and watchlist symbols nearing support or resistance. Alerts are a subscriber feature, the plan that unlocks each type differs, and Telegram linking is required. A price alert is removed after it fires once.
Markets covered
TradingView · Describes instruments across several markets, including stocks and bonds.
MarketSurfer · Check crypto, US stocks and Korean stocks on the same basis. The symbols covered are limited to the range MarketSurfer has set.
Bar alignment
TradingView · Describes charts at any interval, including seconds and range bars.
MarketSurfer · Check on one screen whether the trend direction agrees across six bars: 4-hour, 12-hour, daily, 3-day, weekly and monthly.
Pricing
TradingView offers a free plan and several paid plans, and what each plan includes differs. Please check pricing on the official pricing page. TradingView pricing page

An order for using both
- On a MarketSurfer symbol screen, check which support or resistance the current price is near and whether the six bars agree in direction.
- If you want to draw your own charts or use your own indicators, do that in TradingView.
- You can set the price zones checked on MarketSurfer next to the lines you drew yourself in TradingView, on the same basis (same symbol, same bar). MarketSurfer does not advise when to buy or sell or how much; decisions and trades are yours alone.
TradingView and Pine are trademarks of their respective owners, and this page summarizes public information confirmed on the official pages. MarketSurfer is a separate service from TradingView and is not endorsed by TradingView. MarketSurfer does not recommend buying or selling any symbol, and does not provide order execution or trading on your behalf.
MarketSurfer verification record
Among posts that name a direction or a level, those that are graded are automatically compared with actual prices after a set period, and the record can be viewed on the verification screen. Some posts, such as educational articles, are not graded.
