What is Bullish Engulfing?

A formation in which a bullish candle completely covers the body of the preceding bearish candle. When it appears after a continued decline, especially near support, it is read as a shift in strength. Looking at the shape without the location leads to a wrong reading, and the volume of the covering candle should be checked as well.
