What is Hit Rate?

The ratio obtained by scoring, afterwards and under a set standard, whether published judgments turned out right. Because it counts direction or whether a level was reached rather than profit and loss, it is a different number from account performance. It cannot be interpreted unless the standard for what counts as a hit and the sample size are presented together.
